Positive Risk Management

We will introduce staff to a person-centred and values-led approach to positive risk management. Throughout the workshop, we will discuss why and how we might take risks when providing care and address the importance of an individual’s right to risk-taking. We will support staff to recognise how to support disabled children, young people and adults in making informed decisions around risk management.

Improve their confidence in talking about and with disabled people.

Increase their understanding of the different models of disability & person centred support.

Develop their awareness of different forms of the communication.
