Our Mission
Happy Smiles Training CIC has positively impacted the lives of many disabled people and their communities. The organization’s person-centred, user-led, inclusive, and forward-thinking values are reflected in its training and project delivery approach, which has had a proven positive impact on the social inclusion of communities and the way those communities view and value disabled people.
Happy Smiles Training CIC’s work has had a wide-ranging social and economic impact on communities, with disability hate crime rates continuing to increase, unemployment rates for disabled people being significantly higher than their non-disabled peers, higher rates of poverty for disabled people, and businesses missing out on the benefits of the Purple Pound.
Despite these challenges, Happy Smiles Training CIC has continued to upskill local disabled people and provide them with a pathway to volunteering and employment. The organization’s award-winning work has been recognized internationally, allowing it to positively impact thousands of beneficiaries.
